This is a picture of a sump pump basin in a corner of the foundation. This basin is right next to the footing and shows both interior french drain tile as well as an exterior french drain tile entering the basin through the footing. This drain tile was existing from original construction of the house.
This is for a sump pump discharge line that will also tie into a downspout tile that the homeowner already had installed. We tied into the tile with a Y as well as added a freeze protector in case the line freezes.
